- What is The Round Leicester Relay?
Well... It's a relay race around Leicestershire!
- And how far is that?
Its about 92 miles, though with some clever navigating you can make it shorter
- Where is the start?

- So you can cheat then?
On some legs you have a free choice of route, so as long as you don't trespass YES.
- It's a relay, so how many runners do I need?
Competitive Teams: Men to enter 13 separately declared men runners
Competitive Teams: Women to enter 13 separately declared women runners
Mixed Teams: To consist of a minimum of 5 men or 5 women. See also 'Non Competitive Teams' in race rules
- And how far is each leg and what terrain is it?
The shortest is 5.3 miles and the longest is 7.8, but most are about 6.5 miles. Some legs are on Road and some are mixed terrain following footpaths etc. For more detailed information on each of the 13 legs, click on "Legs" in the navigation area on your left. Click here for further information.
- How do we know where to go?
You will be supplied with maps and detailed instructions for each leg, and although it is worth checking out where you are going to run, you should easily find your way round.
- What if we are slower and it's getting dark when we finish?
Ah Good question, When we first ran it thirteen years ago some teams did finish in the dark, there are now restarts throughout the race after the first few teams have gone through to keep the race together, this makes it safer and more competitive.
- How does is cost to enter a team?
The entry fee is £45 for each team. Cheques are to be made payable to Leicester Round. Please note that we will not consider an entry as confirmed until we have received full payment.
- When is the Round Leicester Relay again?
Sunday 5th August 2007, registration starts at 8am, the relay kicks off at 8.30am.
